Narrow Bandpass Filters

BES OPTICS, INC. - We do OPTICS!!!

The large variety of Kopp filter glass permits great flexibility in the design of narrow bandpass filter suitable for analytic photoelectric colorimetry.  These filters are made by combining two or more color filter elements either in standard or in special thicknesses.  The resulting combination filters transmit radiation falling in narrow spectral regions.

Narrow bandpass filters, when used for isolating lines of brightline emission sources, such as mercury vapor lamps, may be called monochromatic filters.  For isolating the emission lines of mercury vapor spectrum, the filters shown with an (*) will be found useful.

Other combinations can be designed for specific applications.
