Color filters occupy an important position in modern life. They are vital in radiation perception and control in all branches of science and industry. Kopp's wide selection of color filters range from the ultraviolet through the infrared with controlled spectral transmittance.
Kopp color filters are designed and manufactured for their spectral transmittance characteristics. They are particularly useful in colorimetric work and other applications in which specific regions of the radiant spectrum must be isolated. Although they are made from glasses in which inclusions such as seeds and striae are controlled so as not to affect spectral transmittance appreciably, the filter glasses are not optical grade.
The filter glasses are listed in the categories below with links to those pages.
